What To Expect When You Climb With Us
Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, here’s how a visit to Clip ‘n Climb Exeter works:
Step 1
Book online
Book your session through our online system or call us.
Step 2
Arrive 15 minutes early
Check in at reception and grab a drink before you climb.
Step 3
Safety briefing and harnessing
Your briefing session will take you through how the experience works and one of our instructors will fit your safety harness.

Try an extra experience
Time to book your Leap of Faith if you haven’t already done so.
Step 5
Step 5
Climb time!
You will have a full 55 minute in the climbing arena followed by 5 mins to remove harnesses. Spectators can watch from the balcony.

Refuel and relax in the café after your climb

Safe, Supported & Exciting Experience
Clip ‘n Climb Exeter offers a safe, easy and exciting way for anyone to try climbing, thanks to our state-of-the-art auto-belay systems and instructor-supported environment. It’s a brilliant confidence-builder and an active, feel-good experience that kids, teens and adults of any age absolutely love.
Participants must be no more than 136kg to use the auto belays safely.
Take the Leap – the ultimate Clip 'n Climb challenge
The Leap of Faith is one of the ultimate challenges at Clip ‘n Climb Exeter. Climb to the top of a towering pole, steady yourself on the platform, then launch through the air to catch the hanging trapeze. It’s part adrenaline rush, part confidence challenge, and guaranteed to get hearts racing – whether you stick the landing or not. Perfect for pushing boundaries, cheering each other on, and creating unforgettable moments. Purchase one of our Premium Packages to add the Leap of Faith to your Clip ‘n Climb experience or choose the Ultimate Package for a second Leap.
You must be 120cm or taller to take part in the Leap. The Leap of Faith experience can be popular, and spaces are limited during busy sessions.
